AI Literacy

Embedding AI capability

Only 3% of industry believe higher education is adequately preparing graduates for an AI-driven future (Global Finance & Technology Network, 2025). The ability to understand and critically engage with AI has become as fundamental today as digital literacy was a generation ago. While digital literacy remains a core skill, AI literacy has now emerged as an equally essential capability for students and institutes to thrive in an AI-enabled world (Digital Education Council, 2025).

This module, developed in Articulate Rise, is one of five modules aimed at embedding AI literacy as a foundational competence across higher education programs. The project encompassed the full cycle of learning design, beginning with the creation of a design proposal, followed by unit development and the production of a suite of digital artefacts. It concluded with the facilitation of an interactive Miro workshop, ensuring that the concepts were not only presented but also actively explored and applied by learners.
